摘要


北投溫泉區的業者在清洗溫泉儲存槽時,其中的硫化氫(hydrogen sulfide)所造成之急性中毒致死事件是時有所聞,而本研究則是針對北投區溫泉業之勞工,以掌中型肺功能機(Spirodoc spirometer)來評估其呼吸道之狀況,並藉以了解北投溫泉中的硫化氫對勞工的肺功能影響。北投溫泉業勞工526人與鳥來溫泉業勞工49人及水療業勞工55人相較之下,北投溫泉業的勞工並未有肺功能較差之情形,而其三組間之predicted FEV1%值並無明顯的差異,然而在FEF(下標 25-75%)方面,北投溫泉業之勞工(108.27±31.20)則是明顯的高出烏來溫泉業(99.12±27.76)與水療業(96.02±21.98)之勞工(p=0.004)。北投溫泉業勞工中,溫泉池與廚房工作之勞工其肺功能測試結果之FEV1%與FEF(下標 25-75%)並未明顯低於其他職位之勞工。此外,大於50歲年齡較大的勞工比31-50歲及小於30歲的勞工有較高之predicted FEV1%值(分別為91.11±16.99, 90.07±13.26, 86.01±12.10, p=0.002)。而且較資深(年資大於3年以上)勞工的predicted FEV1%值也是明顯地高於1-3年及小於1年的勞工(分別為91.08±14.80, 0.05±12.96, 85.71±13.50, p=0.001)。

There were some death episodes of acute hydrogen sulfide (H2S) poisoning involving personnel cleaning hot-spring reservoirs in Bei-Tou hot spring area. In this study, the Spirodoc spirometer was used to evaluating the pulmonary function test of the Bei-Tou hot spring workers (BHW), so as to understand the influence of H2S to them. Five hundred and twenty-six BHW were enrolled and compared with 49 U-Lei hot-spring workers (UHW) and 55 Spa workers (SW), no poor pulmonary function tests were noted in BHW according to the predicted FEV1% values (F=0.949, P-value:0.388). Nevertheless, the FEF(subscript 25-75%) values showed the BHW(108.27±31.20) were significantly higher than UHW(99.12±27.76) and SW(96.02±21.98)(F5.651, P-value:0.004). In BHW, the FEV1%(F=1.147, P-value:0.381) and FEF(subscript 25-75%)(F=1.973, P-value:0.140) values of hot spring tub and kitchen's workers did not prominently lower than the other jobs' workers; moreover, the predicted FEV1% values were significant prominent higher in the workers who older than 50 (91.11±16.99) than 31-50(90.07±13.26) and younger than 30 years old(86.01±12.10) (F=6.102, P-value:0.002). Its were the same of predicted FEV% values higher in the workers of the labor ages more than 3 (91.08±14.80) than 1-3 (90.05±12.96) and less than 1 year (85.71±13.50) (F=7.596, P-value:0.001).
