With transformation of industrial texture, modern labor tended to have a chronic local or systemic damage for healthy because of performing excessive repetitive behavior for a long time. These disorders were known as occupational musculoskeletal disorders, which was a common condition encountered in occupation disease. We reported a case of carpal tunnel syndrome who worked as a cleaner. On account of excessive repetitive hand motions, pain and paresthesias in the distribution of the median nerve developed and interfered with working and life activity. However, prevention was the best treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome. Appropriate wrist protection would reduce the damage in the work.
