Separation of Chlorophenols Isomers by Reversed-Phase Liquid Chromatography Using β-Cyc1odextrin as Mobile Phase Additives

摘要

在高效液相層析的移動相中，添加β-環糊精以分離氯酚及二氯酚位置異構物。探討移動相中，β-環糊精的濃度及甲醇與水比例對受測溶質分離的影響。從3種氯酚與6種二氯酚位置異構物的層析圖中顯示，利用商業化的RP-C18靜相可以有效分離這些分析物。由層析結果顯示β-環糊精是一種合適的移動相添加劑，且包藏錯合物在分離機轉上扮演重要的角色。

The positional isomers of chlorophenol and dichlorphenol were separated by high-performance liquid chromatography using f3-cyclodextrin as mobile phase additives. Effects of β-CD concentration and methanol content of mobile phase on the separation of solutes were examined. Chromatograms of three Chlorophenol isomers and six dichlorophenol isomers show that the effective separations were achieved on a commercial RPC18 stationary phase. The chromatographic results indicate that β-CD is an appropriate mobile phase additive for the separation of those solutes and the formation of inclusion complexes play a dominant role in the retention mechanism.
