提到鎂合金的量產製程技術,絕大部分的人都會聯想到壓鑄與半凝固射出成形兩種製程。但隨著IT產品輕、薄、高度流行趨勢下,既有製程低良率問題已成為其應用上一大瓶頸,故有各種新鎂合金材料、新成形技術的開發,包括沖鍛、沖壓和超塑性成形等技術。本文主要介紹金屬工業研究發展中心以沖鍛技術開發AZ91、AZ31鎂合金手機上蓋殼件之成果,包含開發流程及製程參數之影響性。
Although the major processes for magnesium alloy products are still dominated by the die cast and thixo-molding, the problems for these two processes which have lower surface quality had become the major difficulties to develop magnesium Information Technology products, due to the light-weight, thin and highly-fashion tendency. Recently, there are some new materials and processes developments for magnesium alloy, such as the fine-grain and heat-resist magnesium alloy, press forging, stamping and superplasticity forming processes. In this article, some research results of press forging process have been presented by Metal Industries Research & Development Centre, during the development of AZ31 and AZ9l magnesium mobile phone cover. Including of the development sequences and the inter-relations on some process parameters.
