Deform-3D應用於擠型製程模擬之研究

Studies on Application of Deform-3D Extrusion Simulation

摘要


擠型加工只需要一道次的成形就可以得到高尺寸精度之複雜斷面形狀的製品,而且只要更換模具即可改變製品形狀,是一項可以因應少量多樣生產型態的製程,因此從民生、建築、機械、車輛到熱交換器構件等之應用相當廣泛。隨著科技的飛快進步,各式複雜的鋁材需求度越來越高,擠型模具的設計工法也越趨複雜,以往依賴經驗設計的方法漸漸的不足以應付各式精密型材之開發,因此CAE輔助設計也因此越來越被重視。其中,包括Deform在內的各種CAE軟體也被嘗試用於擠型設計上。然而,直至今日,真正完全適用於擠型的專用CAE軟體仍未被開發出來,既有的CAE軟體仍無法真正解決擠型模擬的需求。目前的Deform-3D用在鍛造等成形製程確實功能強大而成果卓著,但用於擠型則稍有不足。本文將針對擠型的基本模擬進行剖析,討論目前CAE應用於擠型可能面臨的問題,並提出模擬之改善建議,同時做為未來開發合於擠型使用之CAE軟體之參考依據。

Extrusion is a method which could produce high precision and complex sectional products in single process and is a process can be applied to the various and small amount production. The product shape can be changed easily by changing the die. That's why extrusion products are widely used in civil, architectural, mechanical, vehicular, heat exchanger uses. Need of Various complex aluminum extrusion products increases with technology grows fast, causes the die design becomes complicated. The design methodology based on experiences is no longer effective, and CAE is paid much attention gradually. Deform and other CAE software are tried to apply to extrusion design. However, until now, there is no CAE software really suitable for a special purpose of extrusion. Deform-3D is powerful for simulations of forging and some other process, but it is a little insufficient for the actual needs of extrusion simulations. In this paper, the extrusion simulation is studied and problems of CAE used for extrusion is discussed and advised. These could be the reference for the development of extrusion CAE software in the future.
