圓形棒材二道次輥鍛製程設計研究

Study on Process Design of Two-Pass Roll Forging of Round Bar

摘要


細長形鍛件在進行熱間鍛造前常須先行製作預成形,藉適當的體積分配以令後續的鍛造製程所需沖頭負荷、模具磨耗、胚料體積等製造成本下降,而預成形的製作則以輥鍛方式進行最為經濟快速,可藉Eumuco的輥鍛模具設計準則或進一步藉商用電腦輔助設計軟體VeraCAD協助開發輥模,惟二者均以前者有限的實驗數據所參考建立,不敷現場狀況應用,本文藉Faidi討論相對輥徑比、相對輥長比、截面減縮比等對圓形棒材一道次輥鍛卵形截面完全填充輥模所需寬高比的初步研究成果,應用於第二道次由卵形截面輥鍛成圓形截面的輥模填充研究,並據以開發出圓形棒材二道次經卵形輥鍛成圓形截面的製程設計方法,其結果不僅看出第一道次輥鍛截面減縮比越大,第二道次輥鍛截面減縮比亦須越大,以完全填充輥模外,同時以實例測試驗證本文所提出的製程設計方法的可行性甚高。

Slender forgings are usually preformed with appropriate volume distribution to reduce the manufacturing costs by considering punch load, die wear, billet volume, etc. for subsequent forging processes. Roll forging is the most economical and efficient process to make preform for slender forgings. The die design for roll forging can follow Eumuco's guidelines or can be completed by using the commercial computer-aided design software VeraCAD, which is based on Eumuco's guidelines as well. However, Eumuco's guidelines stood on the restricted experiments and might not be benefit to some applications. Therefore, Faidi had extensively investigated the roll-to-billet-diameter ratio, the length-to-billet-diameter ratio, and the reduction of area on the aspect ratio of the oval section roll forged from a round bar regarding complete filling the roll die. Based on his preliminary results, this paper is aimed to study the second pass to roll forging an oval section to the round section and to develops a process design method for a round bar via an oval section roll forged into a round section. As a result, the larger the reduction of area is used in the first pass, the larger the reduction of area must be applied in the second pass, so that the roll die can be completely filled. The process design method proposed by this study for a given round section from a round bar seems highly feasible by verifying with diverse example tests.
