《百喻經》與《阿Q正傳》

摘要


《百喻經》與《阿Q正傳》這兩部文體不同、時代背景不同的著作,各自呈現不同的文學張力,吸引著不同的讀者群。兩書看似無涉,筆者則觀察出兩書在故事主角心智上的表現相同,兩書中的人物皆具有以偏概全的偏執、對事物的認識分不清本末或表相和本質、自抬身價、欺負更弱勢者、精神勝利法、對生命的漠視等等幾種人物的性格傾向,《百喻經》故事中的各種愚人無異是印度版的阿Q。其次,再以魯迅對《百喻經》的偏愛作為旁證,因此認為魯迅在撰寫《阿Q正傳》時,多少受到了《百喻經》的影響,才用阿Q各種愚昧的行為以指出中國人的國民性問題,在看似荒誕卻又自成一路的故事情節中表達出他對中國人不爭的憤怒。

The two classical works: "The Hundred Parables Sutra" and "The True Story of Ah Q", were written in quite different styles and the time-and-space background were quite the opposite, therefore the literatureal tension are also different, each attracts readers with respective tastes. Seems the two books are not in accordance with each other, but the writer of this paper, has a specific perspective, both of the leading characters in the books, have very similar mental behavior, like paranoia, confusing cognition between appearance and substances, fail to understand the priority and premise in all life affairs, be boastful, bully who be even inferior, indulge in self delusion of victory, indifference for lives,.. all kind of character orientation like this. The fools described in "The Hundred Parables Sutra" stories, are substantially Indian version's Ah Q, furthermore, we see the author Lu Xun, has preference in "The Hundred Parables Sutra", which is a side witness for presuming when Lu Xun was writing "The True Story of Ah Q", more or less be inspired by the "The Hundred Parables Sutra", Ah Q was created for reflecting Chinese people's collective character, by Ah Q's stupid behaviors, by using sequential rediculous stories, reveal the unsatisfication for Chinese people's lousiness.
