摘要
本研究主要目的，在探討報紙報導第十屆(1986)瓊斯杯國際籃球邀請賽之眞相，並和第四屆之相關研究做比較，以瞭解它受到的重視程度是否改變。 研究方法採內容分析的方法。樣本依相關研究之選樣爲準，即從不同性質報紙中，選出較具代表性的民生報、中國時報、中華日報、民族晚報。研究日期共十一天，四報合計四十四天份。統計方法包括基本統計與百分比差異性考驗。 研究結果發現：1.按報紙性質論，第十屆重視程度由大而小依序爲專業報、日報、晚報，與第四屆者相同。2.本屆所受重視程度低於第四屆者。3.在報導訴求上，本屆報導各報均偏重比賽過程之記錄。第四屆報導訴求，因報紙性質而異。

The purposes of this study is aimed at how the newspapers cover the 10th WJCIBIT and try to find if any change happened in the level of importance between the coverages of 4th and 10th. The method taken in this study is Content Analysis. The samples chosen are four domestic newspapers in accordance with their specific character. The statistical method used in this study are Fundamental Statistics and Z Test. The conclusions as following: 1.In the views of the level of importance, the sports newsspecialized paper distribute the hightest percentage rate for the 10th's coverage, then the general daily paper and the evening paper the least. 2.The 10th's WJCIBIT coverage got less attraction from the goalkeeper of paper than the 4th did. 3.The formation of coverage of 10th,in all papers, are focus on the procedure or record of the game, and it's not the same in the 4th's coverage.
