以徑路分析探討目標設定、自我效能及自我評價對高爾夫推桿表現的關系

The Relationship of Goal Setting, Self-Efficacy, and Self-Evaluation on Golf Putting Performance: A Path Analysis

摘要


本研究的主要目的是探討不同變項對高爾夫推桿表現的影響並驗證全體受試對象的自我效能模式是否能符合研究者綜合以往學者的研究(Bandura, 1986; Schunk, 1989; Bandura & Wood, 1989)所提出的高爾夫推桿自我效能模式。 本研究採用高爾夫推桿爲工作項目,並以台北體育專科學校未曾修過高爾夫球課程的學生爲受試者,共有62名學生(男生38名,女生24名),平均年齡爲20.02歲,所有的受試者均爲志願參加。實驗過程可分成四個階段,第一階段塡寫每位受試者的基本資料、以追蹤儀(pursuit rotor)測量手眼協調能力、進行前測高爾夫推桿及填寫前測自我效能量表、第一次自設目標問卷;再進行中測高爾夫推桿並填寫情境檢核問卷;第三階段先填寫自我評價量表,之後,所有受試者都需接受學習課程的指導練習及和測驗,並且填寫後測自我效能量表、第二次自設目標問卷;最後,再進行後測高爾夫推桿測驗。 研究結果顯示,由徑路分析結果得知全體受試者高爾夫推桿學習大致能符合高爾夫推桿的自我效能模式,並且與Bandura & Cervone (1983)及Bandura & Wood (1989)的研究結果相同。過去表現(前測高爾夫推桿表現)能間接的預測中測高爾夫推桿表現及後測高爾夫推桿表現。在整個研究過程中,對高爾夫推桿表現最具影響的變項是過去表現和自設目標,自我效能則扮演中介變項的角色。前半段(即前測至中測)變項對高爾夫推桿表現的預測力爲15.93%;後半段(即中測至後測)變項對高爾夫推桿表現的預測力爲51.02%。 最後,研究者根據研究結果提出討論,對於未來的研究方向也提出建議。

The purpose of this study was to verify the self-efficacy model of golf-putting which derived from Bandura and his colleagues (Bandura, 1986; Schunk 1989; Bandura & Wood, 1989). The subjects of this study were 62 (male 38, female 24) students drawn from Taipei Physical Education College and never attended in any golf class. The mean age of the subjects was 20.02 years. The experiment included four sessions. In the first session, prior to the golf putting test, the subjects' demographic data were collected, and their abilities of eye-hand coordination were measured. Subjects' self-efficacy and self-set goal were also measured after the test. In the second session, Subjects were asked to perform the same golf putting test as in pretest. In the third session, subjects were asked to participate a golf learning class and then subjects' self-efficacy, self-evaluation, and self-set goal were measured. In the forth session, subjects' golf putting performance were measured. According to the results of path analysis, the subjects' golf putting learning could accord with the self-efficacy model of golf putting, and be similar to the results of Bandura & Cervone (1983) and Bandura & Wood (1989). The results of the path model clearly revealed that past performance and self-set goal were the most important variables to predict golf putting performance. Self-efficacy, however, was a mediating variable in terms of predicting golf putting performance. The variables (pretest and middle test) in the model accounted for 15.93% of the variance of golf putting performance, and the variables (middle test and posttest) accounted for 51.02% of the variance of golf putting performance. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions were offered for the future studies.
