摘要

下巴雖然只佔臉的一小部分，但是在整個臉部的美觀上卻扮演著相當重要的角色，不論是位置、大小、或形狀都必須恰到好處，如此才能建構出一張美麗的臉龐。滑行下巴整形術的應用非常廣泛，它可以將下巴前後左右、往上往下滑動，以修飾原本不對稱或不完美的臉部比例，讓整張臉看起來更勻稱，線條更完美。從1994年到2004年間，臺大醫院為18（7女11男）個病人進行滑行下巴整形術，病人的平均年齡為30.3歲（19-65歲），其中9位病人同時接受其他臉部整形手術。18個病人的疾病分類為：11個後縮頜或小下巴，3個不對稱，1個下顎骨腫瘤切除後接受自由腸骨瓣，1個唇顎裂，1個Treacher-Collins症候群，1個第三類咬合不正。平均追蹤時間為1年（6天－8年），2位病人術後出現短暫性的下唇麻木感，除此之外沒有其他併發症。所有病人都非常滿意手術結果。

An adequately balanced proportion and symmetry of all facial features are the requisites for a beautiful face, and the chin plays an important role on facial aesthetics. Sliding genioplasty (SG) is a well-established method for changing the position, size or shape of the mandibular symphysis using autogenous material.
We report our result from a 10-year review of our experience with SG. 18 patients (11 retrognathia/microgenia, 3 asymmetry, 1 mucoepidermal cancer of submandibular gland s/p free iliac bone flap reconstruction, 1 cleft lip and palate, 1 Treacher-Collins syndrome, 1 class Ⅲ malocclusion ), aged 19 to 65 years (mean age, 30.3 years), underwent SG alone (9 patients) or with concomitant facial contouring procedures (9 patients) during the year 1994 to 2004. Mean value of chin advancement was 8 mm. Unilateral mental nerve injury was noted in 2 patients and immediate repair was performed. Paresthesia in the involved area resolved in few months. All patients were very satisfied with the cosmetic result.
By performing SG, the chin can be moved not only in the sagittal plane but also in the vertical and transverse planes of space. Our experience demonstrates the versatility and excellent esthetic results with the procedure.
