Tourism Assessment Matrix and Its Managerial Implications

摘要

對於觀光事業經營管理者來，如何分配预算、投資觀光事業，以及投資發展的重點項目是什麽，一直是重要的課题。也是觀光資源評估工作的重要目的之一。但是由於每一個觀光地區的發展是異質的、動態的，不同的觀光地區必須因其特性採取適合的作法：在不同時間背景，也必須採取能夠因應當時環境背景的措施，因此資評估方法必須能夠符合此一特性。本文參考相關文献以及觀光旅遊地區發展實況，提出觀光評估矩陣，並以台中縣和平鄉為對象加以應用，希望能夠對經營管理者進行投資决策有所幫助，並延續學術研究。

From the managerial perspectives, what to invest for tourist destination areas is a critical issue. The effectiveness of decision would bring positive influences upon TDAs. This article proposes an assessment matrix which shows the status quo of TDAs in terms of their attractiveness and service availablility. According to this matrix, the strategic investments to be a hot spot, the formation of TDAs, and the integration of regional tourism resources could be inferred. All of these propositions are useful for better decisions.
