In this study, the color imageries in of apparel images were estimated using twenty samples in green series. The experimental results show that a set of color-imagery scales containing Dark-Light (abbreviated as D), Beautiful-Ugly (abbreviated as B), and Gorgeous-Simple (abbreviated as G) may be derived for the green series of apparel images tested. In addition, there exists a good agreement for the three color attributes of the dominant color of a specific apparel image relative to those colorimagery scales D, B and G respectively.
