The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among transformational leadership, team implementation and team effectiveness of student affairs officers in 12 colleges of southern Taiwan. The method of questionnaire survey was used were used in the study. Participants were 211 student affairs officers of colleges and universities. The data was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to test and estimate the causal relations between the variables. Results indicate that the theoretical model is accepted, meanwhile the four hypotheses are supported. In other words, transformational leadership has significant positive impact on team implementation; transformational leadership has significant positive impact on team effectiveness, and team implementation has significant positive impact on team effectiveness. Furthermore, it is also found that team implementation plays an important mediating role between transformational leadership and team effectiveness. Finally, based on these research findings, discussions and recommendations on student affairs and future relational study will be given.
