「一中原則」與大陸台商國家認同之芻探

A Tentative Discourse upon the Relationships between the "One-China Principle" and the National Identity of Taiwanese Merchants in Mainland China

摘要


隨著兩岸近年來經貿交流的快速發展,許多人關切台商是否會因赴大陸投資從而改變了他們的國家認同,本文將論述如果有改變也是台灣社會對「一中原則」的認知影響了台商的國家認同意識,其中,台灣內部族群認同意識亦扮演相當重要的角色,台灣族群認同意識影響了各族群對一中原則的認知,從而影響了台商的國家認同意識。本文採取類如歐洲國家建構歐盟這種超國家組織所具的「新區域主義」(New Regionalism)觀點,依這種觀點,民族國家在面臨全球化挑戰時,傾向於讓渡局部主權以獲取更大的職能,儘管本文在資料佐證上有所限制,但藉助間接資料在探討台商國家認同的類型時,可初步證得兩岸對一中原則之爭議所造成的模糊共同體,是提供兩岸地區存在創建類似歐盟這樣的新區域主義的有利機會。

Many in Taiwan are increasingly concerned about that Taiwanese merchants in Mainland China have been changing their national identity from Taiwan to China as the economic relationships between Taiwan Straits continue to expand. This paper argues that the ”One China Principle” influences the national identity of Taiwanese merchants in Mainland China while ethnic identity within Taiwan has also played a great part in the building of Taiwanese merchants' national identity.The approach chosen in this paper is ”New Regionalism” which is the same approach used to conceptualize those super-national organizations like European Union (EU). The main idea of this approach is when facing the great challenge of globalization, nation states tend to trade off part of their sovereignty to gain greater capacity to overcome the global problems they faced. Massive data needs to be gathered in the future to effectively assess the arguments mentioned above, nevertheless, this paper tenatively suggests that the ambiguity of the sovereignty between Cross-Taiwan straits built by the ”One China Principle” provides an opportunity to create a new regionalism around the area.
