資料包絡分析法應用於「大一國文教學效率」自評模式建構之研究

A Study of Self-evaluation Model of Chinese Literature Teaching Efficiency for Freshmen via DEA

摘要


現代教育重視學生學習的成效,故系所建立常態性自我評鑑機制,以改善教學品質,提升教學效率和學生學習成效,實為當務之急。大一國文通常透過會考的方式來了解學生的學習成效,故本研究基於生產力的觀點,將衡量大一國文教學效率相關的量化資料進行比較分析,以建構一套客觀的國文教學效率自評模式。本研究所採取的方法為應用資料包絡分析法(Data Envelopment Analysis,簡稱 DEA)來衡量受評單位的國文教學效率,並以研究者服務的學校為例,進行大一國文教學效率評估的研究。其中,評估指標是依據研究者服務學校之國文閱讀與寫作教學重點及會考相關投入資源做為投入項目的變數,將學生學習成果做為產出項目的變數,並經由5位任課老師討論界定。期望此模式可供各校相關學系參考運用,並藉由其找出教學可改進的方向,以提昇學生的學習成效。

Learning efficiency is an important issue to modern education. So constructing a self-evaluation mechanism to a teaching department is an urgent issue in order to improve teaching quality, promote teaching efficiency and students' learning effect. It is a normal method to understand the students' learning effect of Chinese literature for freshman via unified examination. In this study, the relative quantificational data of Chinese literature teaching efficiency for freshmen was analyzed at the respect of productivity. An objective performance self-evaluation model was constructed to evaluate its performances and it can be used at relative departments in university. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method was used to investigate the teaching efficiency of every evaluated unit. The input variables come from the teaching topics of reading and writing and input resources for unified examination. The output variables come from the student's learning effect. All of them were defined by five teachers who are teaching this course at present. The author's affiliation in central part of Taiwan was taken as an example to demonstrate the proposed model working. The performance index and model can provide the information to relative departments at university. The evaluation results also can provide the strategy and direction of teaching improving to promote the students' learning effect.
