乾燥材殘餘應力之研究(大葉楠,單刺櫧)

摘要


本研究旨在以不同之乾縮應力評估法就不同乾燥溫度與木材乾燥後材內部存在的乾縮應力間之關係進行研究。本試驗以省產闊葉樹中之大葉楠及單刺櫧,在每一乾燥階段相對濕度均等之情況下,就不同乾燥溫度(對照組之乾燥溫度為40℃,試驗組之乾燥溫度為60℃)進行木材乾燥。乾燥完畢後,乾燥材除作叉形試驗,以其表面僵化程度進行傳統式之應力評估;另進行木材橫向靜曲試驗,及測定試片寬度方向之長度相對變形值,以靜曲彈性係數與長度相對變形值之乘積用以量化乾燥材之殘餘應力。試驗結果:以試片寬度之長度相對變形值及靜曲彈性係數所測得之乾縮應力,大葉南及單刺櫧試材不論是表層部分或是心層部分60℃組均大於40℃組,表層部分之差異尤其顯著。而以傳統之叉形試驗法所作之應力評估,不論是大葉楠或是單刺櫧試材經較高溫度乾燥後其變形程度均大於經較低溫度乾燥者,顯示大葉楠及單刺櫧試材經較高溫度(60℃)乾燥後內部殘存的乾縮應力均大於經較低溫度(40℃)乾燥者。故大葉楠和單刺櫧試材,不論是以叉形試驗或量化之木材乾縮應力測定法所獲得乾燥材內部殘餘的乾縮應力,均顯示係經較高溫度乾燥者大於經較低溫度乾燥者。

This study evaluates the effects of drying temperature on the residual stress which was determined with prong test for defects of casehardening, or was obtained from the deformation of width and elasticity of static bending (in the width direction) of wood of Machilus kusanoi and Castanopsis stipitata. The drying schedule of contrast treatment consisted of drying at 40℃, and test treatment was at 60℃ under the same relative humidities. The results indicate that wood dried at 60℃ produced a higher residual stress than that dried at 40℃. So, the residual stress can be determined either with the traditional prong test for defects of casehardening, or obtained from the magnitude of deformation of width by elasticity of static bending (in the width direction).
