博物館數位人文與知識分享之期許與實踐-以國立故宮博物院為例

摘要


數位人文與知識分享的議題在數位科技廣為應用的時代逐漸形成一個新興的研究領域,從其定義中了解到數位科技帶來的大量「資料」及快速的「運算能力」,除了為人文領域帶來嶄新的研究環境,也開創了新的研究方法與方向。而在此趨勢之下,歷來在人文領域中扮演著「資料源頭」的博物館、圖書館及檔案館應如何自我期許並實踐,值得深入探討。本文從數位人文與知識分享的基本定義與特質開始整理,從中歸納出MLA在此領域中應自我期許的角色及功能,並以國立故宮博物院為例,反思其目前在此領域中實踐的種種創新作為,據以歸納出一套可為MLA投入數位人文與知識分享借鑑的長期經營策略。

Digital humanities and knowledge sharing have gradually become two emerging research fields in the era of widespread application of digital technology. Due to the 'huge volumes of data' and 'rapid computing power', these have opened a new research environment and directions for the humanities fields. Under these trends, museums, libraries, and archives that have traditionally played "sources of information" should face and adapt new challenges and opportunities. This paper starts with the basic definitions and characteristics of digital humanities, and discusses the roles and functions of MLA in a digital age. The National Palace Museum in Taiwan is examined as a case study to reflect on its various innovations and practices. In conclusion, a set of long-term management strategies are proposed for MLA in digital humanities research and knowledge sharing policy.
