摘要

音樂治療是健康照護領域中一種新興的臨床技巧，它的定義是“有技巧地使用音樂來恢復、維持、改善病人的生理、心理與情緒問題”，近年來許多職能治療師與護理師都在學術期刊中建議將音樂給用於醫療領域，並對其療效投出有力的研究數據或經驗背書，而許多從視丘功能、內分泌量、beta-腦內啡、心理學等角度對音樂治療所做的研究與論點，也都強化了音樂治療的科學位。音樂治療常被輔助運用的範籌可分爲：降低疼痛、舒緩情緒、增加感覺動作功能、強化早期療育、老年常見疾病之健康照顧等，也都各有學者在這五個方面對音樂治療的療效表示肯定。由於音樂治療在臨床上的介入往往是輔助性的，所以即使是無音樂背景的醫護人員，只要能適時地播放音樂或利用一些音樂活動，一樣可以將音樂給輔助運用於各自領域的療程中。音樂治療是一種相當有意義的療法，不但有可能使病人的病程更有進展，也可以爲他們在冰冷的聲療環境中帶來溫暖與快樂，增加療程中的聲學人文品質。

Music Therapy-a newly developed clinical skills-is defined as ”a therapy to skillfully, using music, to maintain and better off patients physically, mentally and emotionally”. In recent years, more and more occupational therapists and nursing specialists have proposed that music be used onto medication and endorsed the use of music therapy into medication in academic journals, with concrete and convincing figures or hands-on experiences. Lots of literatures in eyesight related functions, beta-endorphin and psychology have scientifically backed the music therapy. Music therapy is very often taken as the auxiliaries for such fields of alleviating pain, soothing anxiety, enhancing sensory functions, strengthening growth in earlier ages and caring for health with diseases frequently seen in the elderly. Involvement of music therapy is usually auxiliary in attributes. The personnel, even lacking music backgrounds, could utilize music therapy into medications in various fields. Music therapy is a meaningful therapy and is capable of significantly helping patients. It can bring up warmth and pleasure into the medical environment and provide humanity ambiance in routine clinical procedures.
