新冠狀病毒流行期間運用多元教學策略於校園的婦嬰實習

Applying Multidimensional Teaching Method for Maternity and Infant Nursing Practice On-Campus During COVID-19 Pandemic

摘要


新冠肺炎病毒(Coronavirus Disease-19, COVID-19)疫情期間,考量師生安全,全面禁止到醫院臨床實習。因此,將臨床情境融入校園實習,對老師與學生是新的挑戰。本文旨在探討運用多元教學策略於婦嬰護理學實習。首先以翻轉教學方式,其內涵包括以學生為中心、課前的預習及課程中進行討論,課程中師生進行討論,包含說明實習主要照護的重點項目;再者,運用課程活動時融入擬真教學及資訊科技運用,例如產婦的照護情境模擬、介紹胎兒監測器的儀器操作及新生兒出生照護等。如此,運用多元教學策略讓學生有如置身臨床實習的臨場感;於課後透過學生自選婦嬰實習主題讀書報告及產科技術練習,進而能學習產科相關照護技巧,最終在實習結束前進行一對一的產婦的照護評值及回饋。期望此次的運用多元化教學策略於校園護理實習活動,可以做為未來臨床實習老師參考。

Considering the safety of teachers and students, education of clinical practice taken place in hospitals may be inhibited during COVID-19 pandemic. It is challenging to reintegrate clinical situation into regular on-campus classes. The article described the application of multidimensional teaching method for maternity and infant nursing in on-campus classes. First, we focused on flipped teaching, using student-centered teaching approaches and previewing before each class and discussion. Second, electronic technology-assisted simulation such as equipment operation and neonatal care was applied. Through multiple teaching strategies, including clinical experiences, skill practices, and self-selected reports reading report, students could obtain clinical experiences through practice on campus. This article provides an alternative teaching method for maternity and infant nursing practice that can be adopted on-campus when on-site clinical settings are not available for teaching purpose.
