不同世代健康狀況對主客觀家務分工與婚姻滿意度關係之影響

Generational differences in the inter-relationships among health condition, housework, and marital satisfaction in Taiwan

摘要

本研究主要目的為分析不同世代中客觀家務分工狀況與主觀家務公平感受對婚姻滿意度的影響中，健康因素所扮演的調節角色。資料來源為「台灣社會變遷基本調查第七期第二次家庭組問卷」，選取對象為已婚有偶者，共計1160人。研究發現：（1）對中老年世代而言，客觀家務公平感受會直接影響婚姻滿意度，且配偶健康也有調節效果；當配偶健康狀況較不佳，家務感受較不公平，婚姻滿意是最低的一群。（2）對青壯年世代來說，主客觀家務分工都對婚姻滿意度有顯著的影響；調節效果則為當配偶健康不佳，做愈多家務對婚姻感到愈不滿意，但配偶健康狀況佳則家務多寡沒有太大影響。未來研究應留意健康對青壯世代婚姻滿意的可能影響。同時也發現在雙人關係中，如婚姻滿意、配偶的狀況是不能忽視的。故未來以提升家庭生活品質的政策上，應同時考量世代的差異，以及不僅是個人健康，配偶健康亦是重要因素的思考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate how health status moderated the relationship between housework and marital satisfaction from two generations. The data source was from the 7th issue of the ＂Taiwan Social Change Survey＂. The subjects (N=1160) were restricted to people who were married or had partners. Multiple regression analysis was used to investigate how health status moderated the relationship between housework and marital satisfaction. The results showed: (1) For older generation, housework fairness was positively associated with marital satisfaction. Also, older generation tended to have the lowest marital satisfaction when the spouse had poor health, and the division of labor is unfair. (2) Housework division and housework fairness have significant effects on marital satisfaction for younger generation. Younger generation tended to have lower marital satisfaction when their spouse had poor health, and did additional housework. For future studies, the effect of health status on marital satisfaction should be considered for younger generation. The couples' relationship, such as marital satisfaction, also needed to include spouses' situations. In terms of policy, both individual and spouses' health status should be considered together as an important condition for improving quality of life for different generations.
