Lipoatrophia Semicircularis-A Case Report and Review of the Literature
半圓形脂肪萎縮－病例報告與文獻回顧
摘要
半圓形脂肪萎縮是一種罕見疾病，其特徵為位於大腿前及側邊之半圓形水平凹陷。病患多為女性。雖然少數病例無外傷因素存在，但多數文獻報告均認為重覆外來傷害是最可能之病因。我們在此報告一例半圓形脂肪萎縮之女性病人，其病程約有兩個月。臨床病史顯示病人因工作時緊靠機器而造成重覆施壓於大腿。本文也將先前文獻報告做一回顧。

Lipoatrophia semicircularis is a rare condition manifested by semicircularly horizontal depressions on the anterolateral aspects of the thighs. Most of the patients are females. Previous literature has shown that repeated external trauma is the most plausible explanation, though in some cases, no underlying traumatic mechanisms are found. We herein report a case of lipoatrophia semicircularis in a female patient who has noticed this condition for two months. The clinical history revealed repetitive pressure on her thighs during the work. Previous reports in the literature are reviewed.
