Osseointegration is defined as a direct bone anchorage to an implant body which ca provide a foundation to support a prosthesis. The idea of the use of implants to subsitute for missing teeth was systematically developed by Branemark and co-worker. Since the Eighities, a series of studies have demonstrated the reliability of this treatment modality. The implant techniques as proposed by Branemark and co-workers aimed at providing the edentulous patient with fixed prosthesis. Furthermore, Schroeder suggested that overdentures supported by four implants should be used for the edentulous mandible. Recently, implant-supported fixed partial prosthesis and single crown have become a very successful treatment alternative to removable and fixed partial denture. But, there are few papers that discussed at “removable partial denture on implants”. This article introduced the report of 2 cases in “removable partial denture on implants”. The short-term result is good, but it needs further long-term follow-up.
