Keratinized Gingiva and Periodontal Biotypes of Natural Dentition: Literature Review

The purpose of this article introduces the measured gingival dimensions of different authors by literature review, and further discusses the importance of periodontal biotypes to the dental treatment. The relationship between periodontal biotypes and genetic control as well as the differences between Orientals and Westerns need further research and analysis.
