人工植牙合併引導骨再生術對於放射性同位素造影檢查之影響:病例報告

Impaction of Dental Implant Placement and Guided Bone Regeneration on Radioisotope Scintigraphy: A Case Report

摘要


人工植牙同時合併引導骨再生術在現今的植牙重建治療中已相當常見,其效果可預期,且成果亦能於傳統根尖片放射檢查中呈現;但其於放射性同位素造影 (radioisotopescintigraphy)的顯像如何?是否和一般骨頭的呈像相同?文獻上則未見探討。放射性同位素造影常用來檢測各類的骨骼疾病,包括代謝性疾病、腫瘤、外傷等,然而於一般牙科治療中並非常態檢查。本病例報告提供一個人工植牙合併引導骨再生術的案例,在治療過程中因健康因素需要而執行放射性同位素造影檢查,但檢查結果於不同科別卻產生不同的判讀。探討其原因,發現不同領域科別由於對牙科治療內容的不瞭解,因而有不同的判讀結果,因此特提出報告並討論。(臺灣牙周醫誌,21(1):100-108, 2016)

It is a common and predictable procedure that dental implants are placed and guided boneregeneration is performed simultaneously on edentulous patients. The results are then detectable usingtraditional radiographic techniques. However, the results of such procedures have not to our knowledgebeen investigated using radioisotope scintigraphy and have not been discussed in the literature. Radioisotope scintigraphy is widely used to detect pathological events affecting the skeleton, includingmetabolic diseases, tumors, and trauma. However, it is not a routine procedure in dentistry. This casereports a patient who underwent dental implant placement and guided bone regeneration simultaneously, and then underwent radioisotope scintigraphy for medical reasons about two weeks later. Interestingly, the image results were interpreted differently by the different disciplines. This may be a result of a lackof knowledge of dental procedures among practitioners in non-dental disciplines. We share this clinicalexperience in order to generate further discussion of this event.
