摘要

多重因子的疾病例如人類之牙周炎常關系到多種基因和環境因子間的複合作用。有關 基因及其變異(多態性)於牙周炎宿主的角色已有許多且持續增加的科學性論文發表。於本文，我們搜尋並摘錄已發表(及本團隊未發表)與漢族華人的侵襲性和慢性牙周炎的感受性有可能相關的基因因子。我們將焦點集中於探討基因多態性(SNPs)於漢族人之牙周炎感受性的角色。(臺灣牙周醫誌，21(1):23-50, 2016)

Multifactorial diseases such as human periodontitis often involve complex interactions among multiple genes and environmental factors. Reports of genetic susceptibility to periodontitis are increasing. This study reviewed the literature (including unpublished data) on putative genetic risk factors for susceptibility to aggressive and chronic periodontitis in Taiwan, where 98% of the population is Han Chinese. The role of genetic single nucleotide polymorphisms in susceptibility to periodontitis was also investigated. (J Taiwan Periodontol, 21(1):23-50, 2016)
