摘要
本研究目的在探討音樂處置對規律服用止痛藥物之癌症病患的疼痛程度、生理反應與心理感受的成效。採用前、後測，對照組未接受護理處置之類實驗研究設計，以北部某醫學中心內科癌症疼痛病患46位為對象，實驗組24位，對照組22位，實驗組接受音樂處置三十分鐘，對照組接受研究者的陪伴三十分鐘。以疼痛評估量表、心理感受量表和生理反應量表評估療效。研究結果顯示：（1）執行音樂處置後，實驗組病患的疼痛程度減輕較對照組多，達到統計上顯著意義（p = .000）。（2）執行音樂處置後，實驗組病患的負向心理感受得分較對照組改善，達到統計上顯著意義（p = .000）。因此可見，音樂處置有助於減輕癌症疼痛病患的疼痛程度與負向心理感受。（3）執行音樂處置後，兩組病患在生理反應改變量的比較上未達到統計上顯著差異。

The purpose of this study was to explore the effectiveness of music intervention on pain levels, physiological responses, and psychological perception of cancer patients who received scheduled pain medications. An untreated control group with pretest and posttest quasi-experimental design was used in the study. Forty-six hospitalized cancer patients were recruited from a medical center in northern Taiwan. These cancer patients were consecutively assigned to experimental group (n = 24) and control group (n = 22). The experimental group received music intervention for 30 minutes while the control group only received researcher’s company for 30 minutes. Data were collected by Pain Assessment Form, Physiological Scale, and Psychological Perception Scale. The results indicated that experimental group had significantly lower scores on pain level than control group (p = .000). Experimental group had significantly lower scores on negative psychological perception than control group (p = .000). There was no significant difference between two groups on the physical responses. The results of this study suggested that music intervention could be an effective nursing intervention.
