摘要

論文撰寫與發表是科學研究的重要關鍵。醫護人員能夠在學術期刊上成功發表論文，不但可以促進個人專業生命的成長，亦可能在薪資報酬及晉升機會等有所裨益。然而，新手往往對論文撰寫的步驟並不熟悉，不知從何入手。有鑑於此，本文的目的是將期刊論文發表的過程作一個整體的介紹。從如何選擇期刊、期刊格式、準備草稿至發表論文的流程逐一說明。各部份並且輔以伸延閱讀的參考文獻，讓讀者可針對所需的部分作進一步的了解。最終期望能協助醫護人員將其研究成果，於學術期刊成功發表，提升個人及地區的研究競爭力。

Writing and publishing a manuscript is an important component of scientific research. Successful publications can contribute more than just enrichment in the professional life of medical staff but may also link with salary and job promotion. However, novice writers are often unfamiliar with the process of publishing and perplexed as where to start. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to provide readers with an overall view of the publication process. Each step beginning from journal selection, manuscript formatting, draft writing to manuscript submission is described. Additional reference materials are provided for readers who want to further explore particular areas of interest in greater depth. It is hoped that this paper can help medical staff in successfully publishing their research findings and thereby increase research competitiveness both personally and in the region.
