國內藥事人員在職進修訓練與教育

An Analysis of Pharmacist on-the-Job Training and Education

摘要


臺大藥學系教師在臺大醫院藥劑科之配合下參與台大醫學院所辦理教育部「國內醫事師資及醫事人員在職進修訓練」專案計畫,至今已二十三年。為了解藥事人員在職進修的成果,彙整藥學系歷年開授之課程與訓練資料,依據培訓時代的藥學教育背景、臨床藥事服務制度之變革以及藥師在職進修管理的制度化,分為69至77學年度之第一階段與78至89學年度之第二階段,回顧性分析教學內涵、進修學員來源、影響進修人數因素。藥師在職進修的需求逐漸增加,從69至89學年度的21年間,有257人次的藥師完成在職進修,佔該期間醫學院所有進修醫事人員的35.4%。將選修課程依內容及特性分為九大類,「治療學相關課程」選修比例最高,幾乎每位藥師都會選修。75學年度後40%進修藥師選擇至臺大醫院實習,約有三分之二的進修藥師選修「臨床藥學相關課程」。民國82年起開始提供研究所層級的教學與臨床實務訓練,對藥師工作有另一層的提升作用。臺大藥學系與臺大醫院藥劑部的緊密合作,提供了藥師專業及臨床指導教師訓練極佳的環境。

With the cooperation of the Department of Pharmacy of National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), the faculties of the School of Pharmacy of National Taiwan University (NTU) have been participating in the Ministry of Education's long-term program ”On the Job Training for Healthcare Faculties and Staff in Taiwan”, which the College of Medicine, NTU has been part of for 23 years. After collecting the background information concerning the pharmacist trainees and the courses taken by them during the period of academic years 1980 to 2000, a retrospective study was performed to analyze the background of the pharmacist trainees, the types of course taken, and the factors affecting the number of trainees, etc. To reflect the environmental changes in pharmacy education, pharmacy services, and management of the training program, the data was analyzed in 2 phases, phase I covering academic years 1980 to 1988 and phase II covering academic years 1989 to 2000. Two hundred and fifty-seven pharmacist equivalents finished the training courses over the 21 years, accounting for 35.4% of all healthcare trainees. One hundred and sixty of them received training in phase II and this accounted for 46.0% of all the healthcare trainees during that period. During the 21-year study period, more than 90% of the pharmacist trainees were from the northern and central part of Taiwan, and more than 80% of the health institutions they serviced were located in northern and central part of Taiwan. There were 6.6% and 3.1%, respectively, of pharmacist trainees from schools or governmental organizations. All others were from hospitals. More than 80% of the pharmacist trainees came from regional hospitals and medical centers, and 13% were from the local teaching hospitals. When analyzed by hospital characteristics, between 31% and 32% of the trainees. All the courses taken by the pharmacist trainees were classified into 9 categories. In phase II, ”therapeutics related courses” were the most popular one and almost every pharmacist trainee elected to attend these types of courses. After academic year 1986, 40% of the pharmacists elected to undergo practice training in the hospital. Two third of the pharmacist trainees elected to take ”clinical pharmacy related courses”.
