Applying Grey Cluster Method in the Study of Quad-rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

摘要

The paper aims to analyze, within the framework of soft computing, the relations between the affecting factors of quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle. Despite long development of quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle and despite there being quite a lot of related research, most investigations of quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle have over the past few years mainly focused on dynamic flight parameters and relevant constructions. Few researchers have optioned to use soft computing for analysis. Although there has been research on affecting factors of quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle based on the grey system theory, no study has been found to analyze by referring to the grey cluster model. With the grey clusters as the focus, the paper analyzes and assesses six quadrotors with 400 mm (and above) wheelbase. Eight affecting factors are identified, including stability, photo quality, safety, endurance, portability, friendly using, transmission distance, and sales price. By quantifying the cluster relationship among these factors, the researcher can get the relations between these factors.
