巴克素和單克素處理對夜來香生長和開花之影響

Effects of Paclobutrazol and Uniconazole on Growth and Flowering of Tuberose (Polianthes)

本研究以矮化劑巴克素(Paclobutrazol)和單克素(Uniconazole)處理夜來香,期能控制其植株高度和花莖長而達到矮化,並生產品質佳之夜來香盆花為目的。夜來香"84E17"和"78B1"分別以直徑2-3 cm之種球,種植於直徑和高度約20 cm盆中,種植後每隔30天以巴克素和單克素0.5-4 mg/L土壤澆灌和10-80 mg/L葉面噴灑處理,調查其對生長與開花之影響。夜來香"84E17"和"78B1"以巴克素處理抑制效果並不明顯,而單克素處理則有明顯抑制效果;"78B1"以4 mg/L單克素土壤澆灌處理抑制效果最明顯,植株高度和花莖長分別為6.2 cm和43.0 cm與對照組10.7 cm和104.6 cm比較,差異顯著,而"84E17"則以80 mg/L單克素葉面噴灑處理抑制效果最明顯,植株高度和花莖長分別為8.8 cm和36.7 cm與對照組14.6 cm和105.1 cm比較,差異顯著。夜來香"84E17"和"78B1"以10-80 mg/L單克素葉面噴灑處理,均易造成花朵縮小及畸形,而土壤澆灌處理則未有此現象發生,綜合本試驗結果,如欲生產夜來香盆花,當以4 mg/L單克素土壤澆灌處理,可達到矮化效果又不會造成花朵畸形或死亡,且盆花品質亦較佳。

The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of plant growth retardants, paclobutrazol and uniconazole on flower stalk length and quality of potted tuberose plants. Bulbs of tuberose strains '84E17' and '78B1', 2-3 cm in diameter, were planted in pots (20 cm in diameter × 20 cm height). Paclobutrazol and uniconazole treatments were given to '84E17' and '78B1' by 0.5-4 mg/L soil drench or 10-80 mg/L foliar spray every 30 days after planting. Uniconazole treatment significantly inhibited the growth and flowering of '84E17' and '78B1', but paclobutrazol did not. After treating '78B1' with uniconazole at 4 mg/L through soil drench, plant height and flower stalk length were 6.2 cm and 43.0 cm respectively which were significantly shorter compared to those of the control (10.7 cm and 104.6 cm). When '84E17' was treated with uniconazole at 80 mg/L foliar spray, plant height and flower stalk length were 8.8 cm and 36.7 cm respectively, much shorter than those of the control (14.6 cm and 105.1cm). In this study, uniconazole treatment at 10-80 mg/L foliar spray caused smaller and deformed flowers in '84E17' and '78B1' but not in soil drench treatment. Therefore, it is recommended to use the uniconazole at 4 mg/L soil drench to achieve the dwarf potted tuberose with better quality.
