原木製材加工之碳排量

Carbon Emission in Sawing Log and Machining Lumber

摘要


本研究現場量測製材廠生產線上原木鋸切之耗電量,並據以計算製材加工之碳排量,進而以一般常用之木工機器加工成市售規格板料及角料,以分析木材製材加工之碳排量。試驗結果得知,杉木及柳杉疏伐木剖材之耗電量分別為6.81及5.52 kW-h/m^3(碳排量分別為4.33及3.51 kg-CO_2/m^3),比二種造林木之耗電量5.00及3.99 kW-h/m^3(碳排量分別為3.18及2.54 kg-CO_2/m^3)稍高,且製品規格較大,可提升其產能,而有效降低碳排量,然造林木一般以室內建材為主,故其製品規格較多樣且規格較小,會造成碳排量之增加。就獲得同一規格之製品而言,仍以傳統手壓鉋-單面自動鉋組合之加工耗電最低(2.21 kW),次高為手壓鉋-單面自動鉋-縱切機(6.01kW),而使用雙面自動鉋-縱切機組合之加工耗電最高(8.24 kW)。透過本研究,可建立各種機器加工之耗能資料,進而計算不同加工製程之碳排量,期能獲得最佳之加工工程模式,進而與其他材料進行比較,以分析原木製材加工之節能減碳效益。

The power consumption will be measured during sawing logs and based on it to calculate the carbon emission in this study. Furthermore, the sawmill lumber will process to specification commercial lumber by wood machinery. The aim of this study will explore the carbon emission during wood machining. The results of the study showed that the power consumption of planed China fir and Japanese fir were 6.81 kW-h/m^3 and 5.52 kW-h/m^3 (carbon emission were 4.33 kg-co^2/m^3 and 3.51 kg-co^2/m^3), it is higher than native China fir and Japanese fir which power consumption were 5.00 kw-h/m^3 and 3.99 kw-h/m^3 (carbon emission were 3.18 kg-co^2/m^3 and 2.54 kg-co^2/m^3). It must be noted that bigger lumber specification could increase productivity resulted in fewer carbon emission. However, planed wood products usually used in interior materials which have variety lumber specifications and the small dimension. Those were caused in increasing carbon emission during processing. In order to obtain the same dimensional square lumber, it has been shown that the machining method by jointer-one face planer could produce lower power consumption (2.21 kW) compared to the other machining methods by jointer-one face planer-rip sawing (6.01 kW) and two face planer-rip sawing(8.24 kW). It has been shown through experiment that we could accord to power consumption of wood machining in calculating the carbon emission for different processes. We expected to get the best model of wood machining in reducing carbon emission.
