Effects of Total Mixed Ration with Different Corn Silage Levels on the Rate of Digesta Passage through Alimentary Canal in White Roman Geese

摘要

本試驗之目的係在探討添加不同含量玉米青貯料之完全混合日糧（total mixed ration; TMR）對白羅曼生長鵝食糜通過腸道速率之影響。以滿2週齡體重相近之雌白羅曼鵝96隻，逢機分配於二個處理組，分別餵飼基礎飼糧外加0%（對照組）及30％之玉米青貯料。每處理組24隻飼養於1欄，二重複，採網狀床面飼養，試驗期為10週，飼料及飲水採任食。鵝隻於12週齡進行食糜通過鵝隻消化道速率試驗；即在兩個處理組分別選取體重相近（平均體重約4公斤）的鵝隻各5隻，採籠飼1籠1隻。結果顯示，餵食外加0%及30%玉米青貯料TMR處理組，鵝隻之塑膠顆粒指示劑的排出高峰，分別為於灌食塑膠顆粒指示劑後之4及6小時；此外，外加30%玉米青貯料TMR組對鵝隻攝食後塑膠顆粒累積排出量，於28小時腸道內食糜指示劑已排出率62%，而對照組排出率為69%，二處理組各時段累積排出量均相近且無顯著差異。綜合上述結果鵝隻餵飼含30%玉米青貯料之TMR，並沒有較未添加者增快食糜通過消化道速率。

The purpose of this experiment is to explore the effect of total mixed ration (TMR) with different levels of corn silage on the rate of digesta passage through alimentary canal in White Roman geese. Ninety-six 2- week-old female White Roman geese with similar body weight were used in this study and were randomly allocated into two treatment groups. They were fed with basal diet plus 0% (control group) and 30% corn silage, respectively. Twenty-four geese were fed in one wire floor pen of each treatment with two replicates. Feed and water were supplied ad libutum throughout 10 weeks of experimental period. Geese were tested the rate of digesta passage through the alimentary canal at 12 weeks of age and five geese with similar body weight (average weight of about 4 kg) were selected from each treatment groups, and each bird was cage-feeding in one cage. Results showed that fed with 0% and 30% corn silage TMR treatments, the peak times of the plastic pellet indicator for the geese were 4 and 6 hours after feeding the plastic pellet indicator, respectively. In addition, the cumulative excretion of plastic particles in the 30% corn silage TMR group geese postprandially that the digesta indicator was excreted 62% from the intestine within 28 hours, while the excretion rate of the control group was 69%. The discharge amount is similar and there is no significant difference. From the above results, the geese fed with 30% corn silage TMR did not have a fast the passage of digesta rate through the alimentary canal compared with the control group.
