A 70-year-old male was admitted with sudden onset of hematemesis. Upper gastrointestinal (UGI) endoscopy showed a big ulcerative mass over the posterior wall of the antrum. Endoscopic biopsy disclosed adenocarcinoma. Computed tomography of abdomen also showed a big ulcerative mass over the stomach; in addition, multiple necrotic metastatic lesions in the liver were found. Owing to repeated UGI bleeding, the patient received surgical intervention. Pathological studies confirmed the diagnosis of primary gastric choriocarcinoma in coexistence with adenocarcinoma. He later died of tumor rupture from liver metastasis.
