Hysteroscopy is a common gynecological procedure for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Its complications are rare, however, major complications have been reported occasionally. This report refers to a 29-year-old female who suffered from repeated spontaneous abortion due to septate uterus. She underwent elective laparoscopy and operative hysteroscopy. Unfortunately, iatrogenic hyperglycemia and noncardiogenic pulmonary edema occurred during the perioperative period. She was then admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment of the complications. The patient was discharged without any sequelae.
