異文化理解へのアプローチ－学校茶道を通して－

日本の茶道は、日本では幼稚園から大学まで、それぞれの学校教育の場でも広く親しまれてきた。近年、台湾の中・高学校は国際理解を深めるために、教育修学旅行を実施するようになり、日本の学校と交流する際、茶道体験も日本文化理解の一環として、よく行われている。銘傳大学近辺のいくつかの高校からも、就学旅行の前に、日本茶道に関する基本知識及び礼儀作法を生徒に体験させたいと、本校に対し茶道体験の協力要請がある。本稿では、本校の学校茶道は茶道部員の日本文化認識にどれほどの影響をもたらしたか、及び部員の日本語に対する学習意欲にどのような刺激を与えたかなどについて、茶道部に参加する前とその後の変化を調査した上で、学校茶道が日本文化理解と日本語教育の学習手段の一つになる可能性を検討してみる。

日本傳統文化之一的日本茶道，在日本從幼稚園開始一直到大學，廣泛地受到喜愛。最近幾年，台灣的中學及高中為了加強認識國際，推行國際教育旅行。在與日本學校交流的活動中，日本茶道體驗被認為是理解日本文化的極佳方式，因此經常舉辦。銘傳大學桃園校區附近的幾所高中也會在赴日教育旅行之前，安排學生到本校，希望本校提供茶道體驗的課程活動，讓學生能夠知道有關日本茶道的基本知識以及禮儀規範。本研究針對茶道社團參加者在參加茶道社團活動後，對於日本文化的認識有何影響？以及對於參加者是否引起日語學習的意願等進行探討。對於參加前與參加後的變化，作一整理分析。探討藉由學校茶道是否可以作為增進日本文化理解及日語學習方法之可能性。｜Tea ceremony, or Chiadou in Japanese language, is a traditional culture of Japan, which is widely favored by students ranged from kindergarten to college in Japan. To deepen students' understanding of the globe, junior and senior high schools in Taiwan have been promoting overseas education tour in recent years. Of various kinds of exchange programs prepared by Japanese side, tea ceremony is regarded as one of the best ways for the students to learn the country's culture. For its popularity and usefulness, it is, therefore, organized frequently. Prior to the education trip, schools in the vicinity of Taoyuan City where Min Chuan University (MCU) is located in usually send the students to MCU in the hope that those about to visit Japan can learn basic knowledge about and the etiquette of the ceremony. This research is aimed to explore the effects of such an on campus tea ceremony on students' understanding of Japanese culture. It examines the willingness of learning Japanese language of the participants before and after experiencing the ceremony offered by MCU. It also evaluates the possibility that on campus tea ceremony helps enhance the perception of Japanese culture and improve the methods for learning Japanese language.
