Orthodontic Extrusion and Implant Site Preparation-A Review Article

Before selected hopeless teeth were extracted, orthodontically extruded these teeth can augment the three-dimensional topography of future implant recipient site. This approach also called ”orthodontic extraction”, i.e., orthodontic extrusion to the point of extraction. This article presents implant development guided by orthodontic extrusion enhances two specific areas: the hard tissue component and the soft tissue component.
