Ectopic eruption is a local eruption disturbance In the developing permanent dentition. It is a clinical entity at the permanent teeth, but it's most likely to occur in the eruption 0f mandibular lateral incisor and maxillary first molar. Ectopic eruption is always associated with the resorption of an adjacent primary teeth, which is hequently impacted. Many studies have focused on ectopic eruption of the maxillary first molar and mandibular lateral incisor. But very few have been done on ectopically erupting mandibular premolar. We add a new case of this condition from our dental clinic.
