The purpose of this research is to find out whether the step test will do good to the function of the cardio vascular, muscle endurance and muscle strength. Twenty-four students were selected in the test. To analyze the function of maximal oxygen consumption, muscle endurance and muscle strength before training and after training. Using Repeated Measures t-test to examine the data, and letting α equal 0.05, we found maximal oxygen consumption and muscle endurance values were much higher than that we got before training. However, muscle strength value didn't change much. So, we conclude that the step test will do some good to the function of the cardio vascular and muscle endurance. As for the function of the muscle strength, no good will be done to it.
