As the paradigm of career counseling has shifted in the post-modern era, the interpretation of career inventories is undergoing a drastic change. The present study aims to understand the effects of the post-modern career inventory interpretation on clients. Solution-focused Therapy, one of the major post-modem therapies, is applied to the interpretation process. Clients' feedbacks show that the interpretation process empowers the client by enhancing his/her self-identity. Besides, Solution-focused Therapy techniques such as Positive Exception, Positive Feedback and Break seem to facilitate the counseling outcome. To finish with, the researchers discuss the results and make suggestions for career counseling practice and future studies.
