摘要

在醫療機構中，護理人員的責任非常重大、角色非常多元，擔任病患整合照護的核心角色，因此只要擔任過護理長、督導、副主任或主任的護理人員，除本身的護理專業能力外，要對管轄範圍的顧客服務、人力資源、專業品質、資產設備、存貨通路、成本及檔案資料等的管理，承擔一年365天，一天24小時的責任。在醫院各部門當中，沒有一個單位的主管像護理主管的角色如此深入多面、基礎深厚。
本「護理人員擔任醫院決策者之優勢」座談會於2008年7月9日舉行，係由聯新雜誌社張瀞文社長（壢新醫院副院長）發起，並與長榮大學護理學系陳彩鳳副教授共同主持。邀請現任副院長的護理人員一起座談。目的在分享（一）護理人員擔任醫院決策之優勢；（二）護理人員擔任副院長，基層人員是否感受不同？（三）在決策過程中，能否以護理人員身份發揮關鍵性的影響力？（四）在此職位中，遭遇過之困境及解決方法；（五）護理人員擔任副院長要如何培育？（六）護理人員擔任副院長是曇花一現或是未來趨勢？（七）給未來擔任決策者之護理人員建議。

In medical organizations, nurses play multiple roles and take on significant Responsibilities in the coordination of integrated patient care. In a nursing management position, such as charge nurse, nurse supervisor, assistant director, or director of nursing, the individual must not only be knowledgeable and capable of practicing a nursing profession, but also be able to be fully accountable in business administration, such as customer services, human resources, quality control, medical equipment and supplies, hospital capital expenses, and medical information system. Throughout various departments of a hospital, experienced nurse leaders play multifaceted roles.
The seminar, ”urses Play a Major Role in the Decision-Making of Hospital Affairs” was held in July 9, 2008, co-chaired by Mr. Jing-Wen Zhang, Vice-President of the Landseed Hospital, and Ms. Thai-Form Chen, Associate Professor, School of Nursing, the Evergreen University. The purpose of the seminar was to share (1) the nurses' experiences of playing a major role in the decision-making of hospital affairs, (2) the frontline nurses' perceptions about the nurse leader in the position of vice-president of the hospital, (3) if the nurse leader has a significant influence in the process of decision-making, (4) the difficulties the nurse leader in the position of vice-president encountered and the resolutions of those difficulties, (5) what leadership skills were necessary for the nurse to become the vice-present of the hospital, (6) if having a nurse leader hold the position of vice-president of a hospital will become a future trend, and (7) suggestions to those nurses who would be the decision-makers of the hospital.
