《妻妾成群》小說與《大紅燈籠高高掛》電影呈現手法之比較

摘要

小說由文字組成，透過文字傳達作者想要帶給讀者的意念，讀者經由文字閱讀去體會作者要表達的意涵，屬於概念性的單一元素組織體；而電影則透過聲音、畫面、色彩等等去做影像的傳遞，是物質性元素的複合組織體，它以實際的影像去闡述欲表達之內容。導演必須用最強烈、最具衝擊性的視覺印象才能抓住觀眾的注意力，除了故事必須酌情增刪，小說中常出現的主要敘述者的評論解釋或主觀話語，在電影中也都可能被刪除掉，如此才能在最短的時間內達到集中突顯主旨的目的。向來由小說改編拍攝成的電影不在少數，筆者以《妻妾成群》與《大紅燈籠高高掛》為觀察對象，對兩者在故事人物與場景呈現上的不同作出歸納與比較，並了解其刪落、改編與創新之目的何在。藉由呈現手法差異處與改編原因的比較，期能發掘出更豐厚的深層含意。

Novels are made up of characters. They transmit authors' ideas which readers read and realize the meanings that authors want to express through the characters. So they belong to the concept of a single element and organize the body. Movies are the transmission of the images through sound, picture, color, etc. In films, they are complex materially elements that organize body. They express the content and accompany with real image. The director must use strongly assault impressions to catch audiences' attention, except for the story must be added and deleted according to the circumstances, the comment of main narrators who often appear in the novel explains subjective words, may all be deleted in the films, could achieve the goal of concentrating conspicuous purport within shortest time so. Films always shot to adapt small number of novels. For example, in ＂Groups of wives ＂and ＂Raise the Red Lantern＂, authors views them as targets to observe. They present the differences and sum up to compare in the story of the two novels, and understand what it deletes and falls, adapts the purpose with innovation. The difference place of the tactics and comparison which adapt the reason by appearing, one can explore out more generous deep meaning.
