居家照護營養服務的現況與案例
Current Nutrition Care in Home Care Service with Two Case Reports
摘要
We believe older people improve nutritional status would increase immune function, decrease morbidity, less hospital stay which could save medical cost eventually. A care manager assigned by a long term care center under the government, who would screen the visiting case malnutrition (MNA＜11) or not. Then refer to a dietitian to get Nutrition care if the case is malnutrition or he makes a request. For this purpose, the qualified dietitian is suggested to provide service but hard to get it. Because the qualified dietitian who is busy in her job and no interest in moonlite jobs, therefore a young dietitian not well-trained replaces it; Even though there is still no enough dietitians to make home care service. Taipei Dietitians Association remains taking it into condersation. In my opinion if the long term care center could incorporate a qualified dietitian in the co-worker, they can work together or make good discussion to provide high quality service for the older people in home care service.
