論述老年同志居住長照機構狀況及友善機構之策略

全球老年人口急遽上升，同志雖為少數族群，但多沒有婚姻保障，同時面臨無子女困境，比起在原生家庭獲得照顧，更需要使用長照機構的照護，因此，老年同志安養問題於近年備受關注，該如何推動性別友善長期照顧將成為新世代的重要課題。本文藉由國內外文獻綜整，以闡述老年同志居住於長照機構狀況，並具體提出建構性別友善長照機構建議，包含文書內容具備同志語言敏感度、提供同志題材相關書籍與活動辦理、依性別認同分配住房、使用友善標語及徽章、辦理友善同志長照機構交流研討會及鼓勵第一線人員參與性別議題課程等，期盼推動友善且多元環境，使弱勢長者更願意入住於長照機構，並能無懼得自我表態，亦安然地度過晚年。

Population ageing is on the rise globally, who is the same as a minority group. And most of them do not have the right to guarantee marriage, when facing childlessness, it is more necessary to use the care of long-term care institutions than to receive care in the family of orientation. Therefore, in recent years, the issue of long-term care for older Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning(LGBTQ) has attracted much attention, and how to promote gender-friendly long-term care will become an important issue for the new generation. Base on international and domestic literature review of expound that older LGBTQ live in long-term care institutions of this article, specific suggestions for the construction of gender-friendly long-term care institutions, include the content of the document with LGBTQ language sensitivity, provide books and campaign related to L LGBTQ themes, allocate housing based on gender identity, use friendly slogans and badges, conduct exchange seminars with friendly long-term care institutions, and encourage front-line personnel to participate in gender-related courses, etc. We look forward to promoting a friendly and diverse environment, so that disadvantaged seniors are more willing to live in long-term care institutions, and they can self-expression without fear and enjoy their old age.
