身體活動與健康體位對於青少年身體健康有深遠之影響,充足的身體活動可以促進青少年的身體發育並減少疾病發生;健康體位在青少年健康也扮演很重要的角色,維持健康體位同樣可以使青少年遠離慢性疾病的風險。動態通學被認為是促進身體活動以及維持健康體位的重要策略之一,因此,本研究之目的為蒐集及統整國內外動態通學對於身體活動及健康體位之重要文獻,以提供給我國政府部門及有關單位參考。結果顯示,動態通學可以有效提升青少年的身體活動及維持健康體位,但我國目前較為缺乏關於動態通學的實證性研究,且各個機關學校也缺乏鼓勵動態通學的獎勵措施及策略。據此,建議我國政府部門及有關單位應發展有效的環境策略及政策來提升青少年的動態通學行為,亦建議學術有關單位發展我國關於動態通學的實證性研究,以利政府對於動態通學相關政策之推動。
Physical activity and healthy weight status are significant determinants of adolescent’s health. For adolescent, sufficient physical activity is beneficial for physical development and disease prevention. In addition, health weight status also plays an important role of their health. Active commuting has been considered as an effective strategy to promote physical activity and maintain weight status among youth. Therefore, this study aimed to collect and review the literature regarding the associations of active commuting to school with physical activity and weight status. The results showed that active commuting to school is related to higher levels of physical activity and lower risks of obesity. However, there is still limited evidence in Taiwan. This study suggests that for policy makers and intervention designers, it is important to develop environmental approaches to promote active commuting to school in Taiwanese adolescent. Future studies on examining this issue are warranted.
