The purpose of this study is to apply therapeutic techniques of puppets in filial therapy. Puppetry is a common technique to assist children to express their feelings, re-enact anxiety, and try new behaviors. After collecting the information, observing the interaction between the child and his mother, and assessing the child’s problem, the counselor decides to use puppets as a major technique in this filial therapy. By using puppets, it can increases the mother’s awareness, and also provides the opportunity to co-create a new interaction.
