臺灣白及種子發育與貯藏之研究

Seed Development and Storage of Bletilla formosana (Hayata) Schltr.

摘要


臺灣白及(Bletilla formosana (Hayata) Schltr.) 為多年生草本蘭科植物,假球莖乾燥可視為白及(Bletilla striata)藥材使用。由臺灣白及蒴果發育期的長度、寬度及重量變化,種子發育觀察及發芽能力的數據顯示,授粉後2週子房快速發育,並形成胚囊、進行受精作用。授粉後2-5週形成種子,5-8週胚發育充實,8週以後蒴果失水及種子後熟。授粉後5週的種子始得到發芽能力,10週的種子發芽率最高,11週的蒴果乾枯成褐色,逐漸開裂。臺灣白及的種子在3℃及25℃添加矽膠的環境中貯存4個月,發芽率可維持75%-94%,貯存6個月則發芽率下降到47%-57%。25℃無添加乾燥劑的處理則在貯存後1個月,發芽率下降到11.93 %,第2個月發芽率下降到0%,顯示低溫或低濕度的貯存環境有利於延長臺灣白及種子的貯存壽命。

Bletilla formosana (Hayata) Schltr., a perennial herb orchid, produced pseudobulb as the traditional Chinese medicine. Capsule development, seed morphology and the germination percentage were studied. After pollination for 2 weeks, ovule formed and fertilized. Seed formation was observed after pollination for 2-5 weeks. Seeds could germinate as early as 5 weeks after pollination, and became maturity after 8 weeks. At 10 weeks of pollination, the water content of capsule decreased while seed germination peaked. The mature seeds stored in 3℃ or addition silica maintained high germination (75%-94%) for four months. Germination reduced sharply after seeds storage in 25℃ and without silica gel for one month.
