摘要

種苗產業是農業發展基石，研發成果及技術發展是影響種苗產業發展的關鍵。本研究以植物種苗檢測、繁殖及育種技術作為研究標的，蒐集專利與科學文獻，進行專利分析、機構生產力及作者生產力分析，以了解國內外種苗產業之研發及技術發展現況。本研究重要結果如下：一、全球植物種苗檢測技術發展：國內外植物種苗相關檢測之專利技術與學術研發能量處於成長階段，其中病原檢測技術為國內外植物種苗檢測領域之技術熱點，基改作物檢測技術是近三年興起之專利技術重點；二、全球植物種苗繁殖技術發展：近三年國內外植物種苗相關繁殖之專利申請數量已逐漸降低。植物種苗組織培養技術為國內外植物種苗繁殖領域之技術熱點，國內政府研究計畫及博碩士論文之研究方向與現行技術熱點發展一致；三、全球植物種苗育種技術發展：國內外植物種苗育種相關專利申請雖自1998年開始逐年增加，近三年相關專利申請數開始下降，顯示該領域技術已逐漸成熟；另政府支持之相關研究計畫數在近五年大幅成長。本研究透過盤點及分析全球植物種苗產業技術知識，掌握國內外植物種苗研發能量，可提供我國植物種苗產業技術創新研發之參考。

Seedling industry is the foundation of agricultural development. R&D outcomes and technological advancement are the key elements of the seedling industry development. This study utilizes seedling detecting, propagation, and breeding technology as research subjects to collect patents and scientific literature for patent analysis, institutional productivity and author productivity to reveal the global status of R&D and technology development on seedling industry. Major findings of this study are as follow: 1. Seedling detecting technology development: The seedling detecting patents and academic R&D capabilities are on the growing stage. Plant pathogen detection is a hot issue in the field of domestic seedling detection. The detection of GMO crops is the focused point of the last three years (2010-2012). 2. Seedling propagating technology development: The patent application on seedling propagation has been gradually reducing in last three years (2010-2012). The tissue culture is a hot issue of the seedling propagating technology. The research projects of government and dissertations of studies are consistently following the trend of technology. 3. Seedling breeding technology development: The patent applications have increased since 1998. It has gradually declined in recent years that revealed the technology in this field has become matured. On the other hand, the government supported research projects increased significantly. The study has audited and analyzed the technical knowledge on global seedling industry to understand the capability of R&D on seedling industry.
