栽培密度對玉米台南24號種子生產之影響

The Effect of Planting Density on Seed Production of Maize 'Tainan No. 24'

摘要


為探討栽培密度對玉米台南24號種子生產之影響,於春、秋兩期作進行不同栽培密度之試驗。試驗結果顯示3種栽培密度(D1=70×25 cm^2,D2=70×20 cm^2,D3=70×15cm^2)於春作玉米台南24號親本花期配合間隔(ASI),父本開花期較母本吐絲期約晚3.51~4.74天;果穗一穗粒數為579.7~582.8粒;而果穗結實率則介於82.7%~90.1%;小區產量8~12.35kg/6.3 m^2;秋作親本花期配合間隔(ASI),父本開花期較母本吐絲期約晚2.63~5.73天;果穗一穗粒數為粒535.0~585.8粒;而果穗結實率則介於97%~98%;小區產量6.4~8.8 kg/6.3 m^2,在種子發芽率方面,春、秋作皆達99%左右。由試驗結果顯示,玉米台南24號在春作及秋作栽培上,以密植栽培方式(行株距70 cm×15 cm),其小區產量面積皆為最大值,推估玉米台南24號,在不影響種子品質情況下,適度縮小栽培株距,可增加單位面積種子產量。

The different planting densities (D1 = 70 × 25 cm^2, D2 = 70 × 20 cm^2, D3 = 70 × 15 cm^2) and the cropping seasons (spring and fall) of seed production on maize 'Tainan No. 24' was investigated in Pingtung area. The anthering date of male parent was 3.51 to 4.74 days later than the silking date of female parent. And the grain number was 506.26 to 526.98, the rate of fertility was between 86 to 91% and the grain yield was 8 to 12.35 kg per 6.3 m^2 of female plant in the spring. The anthering date of male parent was 2.63 to 5.73 days later than the silking date of female parent. And the grain number was 525.73 to 568.42, the rate of fertility was between 97 to 98% and the grain yield was 8.74 to 10.93 kg per 6.3 m^2 in the fall. There was little effect on germination rate of planting density and cropping season. The trails showed that high planting density (D3) had the highest yield and also kept the seed quality at both cropping seasons.
