接種叢枝菌根菌促進孤挺花(Hippeastrum hybridum Hort.)植株生長及地下鱗莖之發育

Promotion of Plant Growth and Bulb Development of Amaryllis (Hippeastrum hybridum Hort.) by Inoculating with Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi

摘要


孤挺花(Hippeastrum hybridum Hort.)是重要的盆花與切花之球根花卉,可以經由雙鱗片法進行無性繁殖,然而雙鱗片繁殖之小鱗球培育至成熟開花鱗莖需耗時兩至三年的時間。本研究將孤挺花雜交品系A-18-1雙鱗片扦插繁殖所得之小鱗莖,分別接種Glomus clarum(Gc),G. etunicatum(Ge),G. fasciculatum(Gf),G. mosseae(Gm),Gigaspora sp.(Gg)及Acaulospora sp.(Asp)等六種叢枝菌根菌(AMF),探討對孤挺花植株及地下鱗莖生長發育之影響。試驗結果顯示孤挺花小鱗莖接種六種AMF十八個月後,無論在株高、莖部直徑、葉寬及葉片數均顯著(p<0.05)優於對照組,各接菌組鱗莖周徑與重量分別增加46%和220%以上。雙鱗片扦插繁殖搭配接種AMF可有效促進植株與地下鱗莖發育,縮短開花種球之養球時期,降低孤挺花球根花卉之生產成本。

Amaryllis ( Hippeastrum hybridum Hort.) is an important bulb plant used for either fresh cut flowers or potted flowers. Its vegetative propagation method is performed by means of twin scaling. However, the small bulblets developed from twin-scales require about two through three years for produce mature bulbs. In this study, Amaryllis hybrid line A-18-1 seedlings propagated by twin-scaling cutting were inoculated with six species of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), "Glomus clarum" (Gc), "G. etunicatum" (Ge), "G. fasciculatum" (Gf), "G. mosseae" (Gm), "Gigaspora sp". (Gg) and "Acaulospora sp." (Asp) to evaluate their effect on the plant growth and development of bulb. The results showed that the plant height, stem diameter, leaf width and leaf number of Amaryllis inoculated with AMFs for eighteen months were significantly better than those of the control group. AMF could enhance the bulb circumference and bulb weight about 46% and 220%, respectively. Utilization of the twin scaling vegetative propagation method and AMF inoculation treatment could promote the bulb development and quality of Amaryllis and shorten the production period for marketable bulbs. The cost would be down effectively as well.
