國立政治大學與台南女子技術學院九十學年度入學女子新生體適能研究

Research on fitness performance of new female students of National Cheng-Chi University and Tainan Woman's College of Arts and Technologyin the 90^(th) academic year

摘要


本研究旨在了解國立政治大學與台南女子技術學院九十學年度入學女子新生之體適能狀況,以利未來訂定上課教學目標。本研究以九十學年度國立政治大學510人與台南女子技術學院入學女子新生667人共1,177人為對象,平均年齡為18.2 ± 0.3歲;身高159.7 ± 0.8公分;體重51. ± 11.6公斤。體適能測驗項目有身高、體重(身體質量指數;BMI)、柔軟度(坐姿體前彎)、肌耐力(一分鐘屈膝仰臥起坐)、爆發力(立定跳遠)與心肺耐力(800公尺跑走)等,測驗所得資料以Microsoft Excel電腦統計軟體處理,經統計分析後獲得下列結果:1. 在身體質量指數(BMI)方面,國立政治大學女子新生有5.7%、台南女子技術學院新生有7.6%學生體重過重或肥胖,國立政治大學女子新生有20.6%,台南女子技術學院新生有20.4%新生體重過輕。2. 全部受測學生有30%~40%在柔軟度與肌肉耐力測驗上成績普遍不佳。3. 有49.4%的國立政治大學女子新生與65.7%的台南女子技術學院新生下肢肌力不好。4. 有84.9%的國立政治大學女子新生心肺耐力不佳,比例高於台南女子技術學院甚多。本研究顯示出兩校女子新生之體適能情況,學校可分別針對各項目進行體適能改善計畫。兩校皆應設計體重控制課程,給予運動處方指導並鼓勵、協助體重過輕或過重的學生增、減體重。另外,體育課程中除了技能學習外,也應多給予其他的體能訓練,除普遍加強肌力訓練外,本校還應特別加強心肺耐力訓練,以提升學生之體適能。

The purpose of this study was to learn the fitness performance of new female students in the 90^(th) academic year of National Cheng-Chi University (NCCU) and Tainan Woman's College of Arts and Technology (TWCAT) so that it can be helpful for making of course goal. Participants were 510 female freshmen who came from the NCCU and 667 female freshmen came from the TWCAT in the 90^(th) academic year, 1177 in total, with an average age of 18.2 ± 0.3 years, average height in 159.7 ±0.8 cm, average weight in 51.6 ± 11.6 kg. Testing items were the body mass index (BMI), flexibility (sit and reach), muscular endurance (I min sit-ups), explosive strength (standing long jump), and cardiovascular endurance (800 run/walk). All datum were processed by the Microsoft Excel and the analytics result as follows: 1. In the body mass index (BMI), 5.7% of the NCCU new female students, and 7.6% of the TWCAT new female students are overweight or obese. There are 20.6% of the NCCU new female students and 20.4% of the TWCAT new female students are slim. 2. 30%~40% of participant s are not good in flexibility and muscular endurance. 3. 65.7% of new female students of the NCCU and 49.4% of the TWCAT new female students are not good in the strength of lower extremity. 4. The cardiovascular endurance is not good in 84.9% of the NCCU new female student, much more than the TWCAT's. The results show the fitness performance of new female students for the two schools, and they can make necessary plans to improve every item. They should design programs to help and encourage their students control their own weight. Besides, they should have more fitness training than just sport-skill learning. They should have more training in muscular strength especially. And for NCCU, it should greatly increase the training in cardiovascular endurance.
